I'm Learning Japanese So I Can Congratulate These Guys
The next two weeks are going to be hell. Between now and 13 days from now, I'll have written somewhere around 10,500 words, read over 300 pages, and sat for 5 hours of exams. Contrary to what you may believe, you should expect to see more posts as I strive to procrastinate "constructively". Also, it snowed, it's sunny, and I could spend the afternoon staring out my window, watching the powder fall off the needles of the evergreens. *Closing the blinds now*

When I read this earlier today I was jealous of your situation. I love watching the first snow fall out my window with a warm cup of something.
ReplyDeleteIt's four in the morning now and I was settling into bed and I peeked out and saw that, alas, it has begun snowing here too. It looks beautiful.
Guess it's going to be a long night.
Hope you got to bed.

At the end of a deluxe fireworks display is usually the portion called the Grand Finale. At this point in the display hundreds of rockets are exploding in a kaleidoscopic frenzy, one explosion following another in rapid fire, one star burst after another, filling the sky with chrysanthemum blooms. That's what these brilliant performers reminded me of. It was exhilarating.
